Before you can release it, you have to find it. Not the story—the feeling. Where does it live in your body? What does it feel like? Get specific.
You're not trying to make it go away. You're trying to make it manageable enough to finally feel. Titration, not explosion.
Emotions that are actually felt don't last long. They have a natural arc—rise, peak, fade. Most of us interrupt this arc. Here, you let it complete.
Something shifts when emotions actually process. Lighter. More space. Different. You'll know it's working because you're carrying less.
Talking about feelings and feeling feelings are two completely different neurological events.
Understanding why you're angry doesn't discharge the anger. Knowing the origin of your anxiety doesn't calm your nervous system. You can have perfect insight and still carry the same tension.
