You can go to 30 years of talk therapy and still make bad decisions. Still not work out your stuff. But a handful of somatic healing sessions can collapse all that time.
Why? Because your body is a quantum processor. It handles energy much more efficiently than your linear, language-based mind.
What Is Somatic Healing?
Somatic healing is the practice of moving attention from the mental space down into the physical body. Instead of thinking about your problems, you feel them as sensation.
By turning all your attention to sensations moving around in your body, you transmute mental energy into physical emotional energy that’s easier to process.
This is why talk therapy takes so long. You’re processing through language. Linear. Slow. Somatic healing works with the body’s natural intelligence, which is much faster.
How Somatic Healing Works
Life is an outpicturing of what’s happening internally. Your nervous system. Your energy field. Reality is just an acupuncture needle showing you where you have lodged energy or trauma that’s ready to release.
When you’re fully felt through, you open your decision space. You know what to choose and when to choose it. Abundance isn’t material. Abundance is knowing what you need to know when you need to know it.
You get to that place of knowing by moving the mental chatter down into your body.
The Practice
Sit quietly. Set a timer for 15, 30, maybe an hour. Put deep curiosity and focus on your body. Move attention from the mental space into the physical.
Notice what arises. Tension in your solar plexus. Tightness in your heart. Watch how it wants to move around.
Your brain will immediately try to get you out. “I need to check on that thing. Actually, I need to do that. This is uncomfortable, let me make sure that’s not happening.”
That’s your monkey mind trying to prevent you from feeling temporary discomfort. All bad decisions come from this: choices made to avoid feeling something uncomfortable in the moment.
Riding the Bull of Your Emotions
I call this practice “riding the bull.” Emotions come on. Thoughts try to get you out. Your job is to stay on.
“Did I forget to put out that candle? Did I lock the door? What if there’s an emergency and my phone is off?”
Rather than checking, let the worst-case scenario play out in your system. What if it did happen? How would that feel?
Feel through it. That energy, every thought, is an acupuncture needle pointing to energy ready to transmute. This is what being a spiritual alchemist means.
What Happens When You Transmute
When you put curiosity on the energy in your body, you transmute it into creative potential. It feels like drinking a cup of hot tea or a glass of red wine. Heat expands into your feet.
When it no longer feels uncomfortable, you know you’ve processed and transmuted it. Your decision space is now wide enough for inspired action.
Don’t take action from fear or discomfort. Give yourself a hot minute to feel through. Your decisions will be better. Your choices will be better.
Somatic Healing as Daily Practice
Just like going to the gym is temporarily uncomfortable but makes you stronger, somatic healing grows the pipes of your nervous system.
If you do this every day for six months and then look at your life, you’ll love what you see. Strong. Flexible. Clear.
Manifestations flow to you. You don’t need techniques because your natural set point becomes balance, expansion, hope, and optimism.
This is shadow work in action.

The Secret
Really, this is the only emotional advice you need: feel your big feelings.
Take every story your monkey mind throws at you, every fear, uncertainty, and doubt, and move it down into your body. Get curious about how that energy wants to move in your nervous system.
When you do this, you have massive upleveling. You get out of the stagnated loop of bad decisions. You collapse time. You connect dots backwards.
Somatic healing isn’t just therapy. It’s the practice of becoming someone whose body is clear enough to receive whatever wants to flow through.
