Reality will always offer what I call The Bounce.
This concept changed how I understand resistance in my life. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
How The Bounce Works
You will set an intention for a new experience in your life, but instead of that new experience showing up as you have imagined it immediately, reality responds by giving you more of the same undesired experiences that you have already been experiencing.
It is similar to when you are writing a document and try to close it out. The document first throws an error message and asks: Do you want to save the document or revert back to the original?
The Bounce serves this same function within the reality simulation.
I’ve experienced this so many times. I decide I want more peace in my life, and suddenly everything feels more chaotic. I commit to healthier relationships, and my unhealthy patterns show up louder than ever.
For a long time, I thought this meant I was failing. Now I understand it differently.
The Test
You make changes to the vibrational output going into the reality feedback loop. Before the feedback loop accepts the new data and renders, it triggers an error to confirm that you want to save this new vibrational information.
This is to test your energy and see if you really want to make the shift to a new paradigm of living or are just paying lip service. It is a safeguard on the simulation to prevent you from experiencing things you are not truly ready to experience.
The universe isn’t being cruel. It’s being careful. It wants to know if you mean it.
Respond Differently
When The Bounce shows up, you are given an opportunity to respond differently than you have to similar situations in the past.
How are you handling the struggle, opposition, frustration, grief, anger, or guilt in your life? These are all opportunities to shift reality.
Responding to reality with grace and presence is so powerful. It allows you to move through the safeguards which hold you in a matrix of thought or paradigm of experience and easily navigate to and through parallel experiences.
This is where the real work happens. Not in the intention setting. In the response to what comes after.
Turn the Other Cheek
In grace and presence, you are more vibrationally malleable and thus are able to tune to new reality frequencies with more ease.
This is the meaning of turning the other cheek. You look at something which does not match the experience you wish to have and literally turn your focus towards a definition and outcome that you do wish to have. You turn from observation of what is to imagination of what could be.
Responding differently to The Bounce is the basis of graceful, unconditional living. It is how you step outside of the simulation of space-time and create from an expanded level of awareness.
The old patterns will show up again. That’s guaranteed. But how you meet them determines whether they keep running your life or finally release their grip.
Turn the other cheek. Not because the slap didn’t hurt. But because you’ve decided to look toward something better.
