Why Is Music So Powerful: Vibration Training for Reality

Why is music so powerful? Because we're vibrational beings, and music is one of the fastest ways to shift your energetic state.

From the Vault

I wrote this 13 years, 2 months ago. My thinking has probably evolved—some ideas deepened, others abandoned, a few transformed entirely. For how I'm currently thinking about things, check out what I'm working on today or Bible Mystic.

Found this through Google? You just proved a point I've made often. This post is still working years later—no ad spend, no algorithm games. SEO is the highest-ROI investment any creator can make. I can help you build that.

Listen while you workout, cook, or commute.

Most of us have experienced the power that a great song can have over us. Music, being vibrational in nature, just like reality, is an amazing way to train your vibration to a higher energetic level.

A good song can push you further than you might be willing to go without it.

Why Music Works

Why is music so powerful? Because we’re all vibrational in nature. Reality is created by the vibration we send out, and music is a great way to focus your energy and direct it in a certain direction.

Music allows you to run faster, jump higher, and be stronger. It helps us practice the feeling of invincibility. Athletes know this instinctively. They curate playlists for competition because the right song can unlock performance the mind alone can’t access.

Listening to music is a great way to clean up your vibration. It’s one of the easiest ways to instantly turn your day around or make a fresh energetic start.

The Emotional Shortcut

Emotions are supposed to come from experiences. Something happens, you feel a way about it, the feeling passes. But music bypasses the experience entirely. It goes straight to the feeling.

This is why a song can make you cry for no reason. Why a beat can make you feel invincible without having done anything to earn it. Music is an emotional cheat code.

And unlike drugs, the side effects are minimal. Unlike alcohol, you remember everything. Unlike other shortcuts, music is always available and always free.

Music and Manifestation

Affirmations aren’t effective when there’s no active emotion or feeling behind them. Music can help you get in the vibrational range of the thoughts you want to manifest.

Meditating with emotionally charged music can help in the manifestation of thoughts. Music can help expedite the manifestation process by putting you in the right emotional state.

The feeling is the prayer. Music helps you feel the thing you’re trying to create before it exists. It’s practice for having what you want.

Feeling Music Differently

Music is a great way to practice multidimensional feeling or perception. Try listening to music not with your ears, but with your solar plexus.

Your solar plexus and heart can be trained to feel the energies of the environment around you. Music is a great way to train yourself to feel energies beyond just hearing sounds.

New advances in scientific technology will eventually be discovered around vibrational frequency and its ability to alter and manipulate physical matter. Until then, we have music.

Why is music so powerful? Because it’s practice for everything else.

This is the lens the Bible is meant to be read through.
