Why Bad Days Happen: A Spiritual Life Coach Perspective

A spiritual life coach would tell you: bad days aren't failures. They're life poking you where energy is stuck so it can finally move.

From the Vault

I wrote this 2 years, 5 months ago. My thinking has probably evolved—some ideas deepened, others abandoned, a few transformed entirely. For how I'm currently thinking about things, check out what I'm working on today or Bible Mystic.

Found this through Google? You just proved a point I've made often. This post is still working years later—no ad spend, no algorithm games. SEO is the highest-ROI investment any creator can make. I can help you build that.

Listen while you workout, cook, or commute.

Sometimes no matter how much vibrational work you do, things spiral into negativity. You lost your job. A relationship ended. You made a mistake and now you’re beating yourself up.

On those days, it’s incredibly annoying when someone tries to convince you everything is working out. So I won’t. Not yet.

Life Is an Acupuncturist

Here’s why bad days happen from a spiritual life coach perspective: when you have stuck energy in your body, life wants to help you move it. So it renders experiences designed to poke you wherever the energy is stuck.

A terrible day is a big acupuncture needle. If you can see it this way, it becomes easier to feel what’s happening rather than labeling it or reacting unconsciously.

This is how the Law of Attraction actually works. Stuck energy gets poked. Flowing energy doesn’t need poking. Reality is just a mirror showing you how your energy systems are flowing.

I used to think bad days meant I was doing something wrong. Now I understand they’re often doing something right—clearing what needs to clear.

The Gap Trap

We get caught focusing on the distance between where we are and where we want to be. We stare at how far we are from what we want instead of recognizing that whatever is happening right now is part of the ride.

When you focus on what’s not working, your energy slows. When it slows enough, life pokes you again to signal that something needs to move.

Why do bad days happen in clusters? Because the same stuck energy keeps attracting similar pokes until you actually feel through it.

Pendulums and Energy Vampires

There are collective thought structures (Reality Transurfing calls them pendulums) that try to lure you into their games. Political ideology. Corporate politics. Family dynamics steeped in old belief systems.

When you engage with a pendulum, it sucks energy from you. Instead of creating your own experience, you live by someone else’s rules.

This doesn’t mean you can’t participate in systems. It means you participate consciously, without letting them hook you emotionally.

The Practice

When life pokes you with a bad day, your job is simple: feel it without projecting it.

Set aside 15-30 minutes. Sit with what’s triggered. Notice where it shows up in your body. Don’t judge it. Just watch it move until it releases.

That’s what negative feelings are for. They’re not punishments. They’re energy asking to move. Once it moves, it transmutes back into creative potential.

This is shadow work in action.

The Reframe

Any spiritual life coach worth their salt will tell you: the poke isn’t the problem. Resisting the poke is the problem.

When you stop fighting and start feeling, the energy moves. When the energy moves, reality shifts. When reality shifts, the bad day becomes the setup for what you actually wanted.

That’s not toxic positivity. That’s how the mechanism actually works. Why do bad days happen? So stuck energy can move. Let it move and watch what opens up.
