Masculine and Feminine Energy: The Edge Where Magic Happens

Understanding masculine and feminine energy isn't about gender. It's about learning to read polarity—the tension that makes flirtation, comedy, and sales electric.

From the Vault

I wrote this 1 year, 11 months ago. My thinking has probably evolved—some ideas deepened, others abandoned, a few transformed entirely. For how I'm currently thinking about things, check out what I'm working on today or Bible Mystic.

Found this through Google? You just proved a point I've made often. This post is still working years later—no ad spend, no algorithm games. SEO is the highest-ROI investment any creator can make. I can help you build that.

Listen while you workout, cook, or commute.

The best flirtation, the funniest joke, the perfect thing to say in a sales call. They all live at the same place. The edge where masculine and feminine energy meet.

Polarity is the energetic tension between opposites. Learning to read it, to feel where that edge is in any room, is one of the most valuable skills you can develop.

What the Edge Looks Like

Good flirtation is playing with masculine and feminine energy. Almost going to a dangerous place. Blurring the line of what is allowed. In that mystery, there is electricity. That electricity shows up in your body as an intoxicating cocktail. That’s the feeling of falling in love.

Good comedy is the same thing. Saying what you’re not supposed to say but everyone is thinking. Giving language to tension in a way that lets everyone laugh about it. The laughter is celebration: we were all thinking that, you released the tension, thank you.

Good sales is the same. Building polarity to get to the meat of what needs to be discussed. Saying the uncomfortable thing that all the yes-men were afraid to say.

The person who can read where that edge is and play into it correctly is who we call charismatic.

The Tool for Reading Energy

People think charisma is mental. Techniques you memorize. Scripts for how to flirt. Formulas for what to say.

The real gold is different. It comes from being so attuned to your own nervous system that you don’t need a script. You know what needs to be said because you can feel what the room needs. You know where the masculine and feminine energy wants to go.

This is why the only piece of advice that matters is: feel your feelings. That’s how you develop the antenna. That’s how you become someone who reads energy instead of guessing.

This is where inner attunement creates outer charisma.

Speaking Truth Creates Polarity

The truth is usually the most dangerous thing you can say. And often, saying it is exactly what the situation requires.

In a corporate boardroom, everyone giving rehearsed pitches, I could feel the client didn’t want to buy our proposal. Something else was going on. I said: I think the reason you don’t want to do this is because you want to use your business as a way to minister for Christ. Until you do that, you’re not going to sign off on any marketing.

Everyone froze. This wasn’t part of the rehearsed pitch. But the client said: you’re right. Let’s do that.

I didn’t know that intellectually. I felt it. Honoring that gut intuition created the courage to speak. Truth created connection by activating the polarity between what everyone was avoiding and what needed to be said.

Balancing Your Polarities

When you can’t look at both sides of an issue without a visceral reaction, you’re overclocked in one polarity. Understanding masculine and feminine energy means being able to hold both without being triggered by either.

Part of consciousness expansion is being able to hold multiple polarities in your mind at once without them triggering a reaction. When you can look at what each side says and recognize each person is playing their game pretty well, you’ve balanced your energies.

From that balanced place, you can navigate any room. You can feel where the edge is. And you can speak what needs to be spoken.
