I’m a movie star! Groomsday: The Movie

by Jon Ray on December 16, 2008

Here’s the trailer for a movie I was in that premiered this week called, Groomsday. Directed by Jake Starkey. I had a blast making this thing. Is it possible that I am blessed with having the best jobs in the world? Yes, I think so. I’ll let you know when and where you can watch this when I have more details. As for my Oscar speech, it’s an honor just to be nominated.

And for the record, yes, I’m a pretend father in this film with a baby. If that’s not stretching the ol’ acting chops, I don’t know what is…

I must be way out of the loop because this movie was shot in my home town and I never even hear about it! Where is this movie going to be showing?
  • @Shelby - Not sure what the deal with that link is, I'll call the company doing the film marketing and shake down an active link for you. ;)
  • The link to www.groomsdaymovie.com didn't work for me. When/where can I see it?

This looks like a movie that I would choose...the 28th year or so, when people start settling down, growing out of the party scene into the family era...I look forward to seeing the transition of these young men into another chapter in their lives. Maturation...growth...yeah, babies!
  • Wow. That has got to be a good feeling to be able to see this. Looks like it was a sweet little gig for ya.
