What do you say when you find this in your stocking?

After getting into the holiday shopping spirit yesterday for Black Friday, I decided to poke around for a few gifts online today. The internet makes finding the perfect gift for each friend and loved one in your life pretty easy. But, who on my list is going to get a GIANTmicrobe? The following is one of the strangest gifts I’ve seen, thus far:

Strange Stocking Stuffer Gift

GIANTmicrobes, according to their website are:

Stuffed animals that look like tiny microbes—only a million times actual size! Now available: The Common Cold, The Flu, Sore Throat, Stomach Ache, Cough, Ear Ache, Bad Breath, Kissing Disease, Athlete’s Foot, Ulcer, Martian Life, Beer & Bread, Black Death, Ebola, Flesh Eating, Sleeping Sickness, Dust Mite, Bed Bug, and Bookworm (and in our Professional line: H.I.V. and Hepatitis). Each 5-to-7 inch doll is accompanied by an image of the real microbe it represents, as well as information about the microbe. They make great learning tools for parents and educators, as well as amusing gifts for anyone with a sense of humor!

The above picture is from their venereal line of products and is sure to be a best seller. If the years past are any indicator, there will not be a shortage of strange products you can fill you stockings with. What else have you found that is a weird idea doing well this holiday season? What products have you personally had success with that you first distributed as a joke? What stupid holiday tradition do you have in your family that you could make a million dollars from distributing on a mass scale?

After all, the guy who invented the Pet Rock made a million dollars!
